How will the hurlers do in the playoffs

They should beat Kells next Sunday which will put them in a semi final. I'm not sure that they are good enough to progress further. They have lost many players this year - emigration, Jimmy Canty, Joicey, Doyler. - Injury, Benny Keogh. Retirement, Sugs. - Suspension, Fitzy.

A win against Kells at the weekend will put us into the Quarter Final where we'll most likely play the winners of the Kildalkey v Killyon game. We're missing a good few who'd be in or around the first 15 but once you get to knock-out hurling anything can happen.

Kildalkey it is on Saturday week.

I'm not sure about our chances, the lads have been playing well but Kildalkey also seem to have found a bit of form. It was close last season, and we do owe them one from that defeat.

And well done to the Juniors who are in a Semi Final on Tuesday. Again they had a close loss to Boardsmill. Suggs had a great game vs Na Fianna, he might bring the experience needed to win this game
