I seen Blackhall play Wolfe Tones in Trim earlier in the Championship. It was a poor game. Cian Ward wasn't playing that day, based on the way he played against us he would have won the game for Wolfe Tones that day.

Will we be missing many players for this game?

Fitzy is gone for the year - suspended. Frankie is just returning from suspension and would not be match fit. Doyler (Colm) and Joycey emigrated. In saying all of that we are after having three great wins in the A league, albiet against intermediate teams.

So just on the off chance, what way do the relegation playoffs work?

The relegation works like:
The bottom team from each group goes in the a three way play off. Two of the teams are selected with the toss of a coin to play one another and the loser plays the remaining team. The final loser is relegated

Is it just me or is it very unfair that one team will get two chances in the relegation playoffs?

It would be as easy to make a mini League between the 3 teams and let the bottom team be relegated. One extra game in the season won't do any harm, even if it means someone gets relegated due to score difference

Seniors desperately unlucky today.

Duleek and the looser of Nobber and Rathkenny the other teams in the relegation play off. We beat Nobber and Rathkenny in the League if you can take anything from that, so still a good chance of surviving.

A great victory but what a pity there was a sting in the tail with relegation
